Agenda
Days 1 & 2 – An awesome two days of drytooling and mixed climbing in the Bow Valley! We will practice movement skills, clipping and dealing with gear, leading techniques, safety considerations and of course do tons of climbing! Because the group size is so small it is not necessary for everyone on the course to be at the exact same skill level, we will choose venues that have a variety of difficulties of climbs. The November dates may be drytooling both days since the routes with ice aren’t always formed. Using ice tools & crampons on the rock is the main focus anyways so it doesn’t much change what skills we learn.
Optional Day 3 – Multipitch Ascent: Course participants can add on a discounted day of multipitch ice or mixed climbing in groups of 1 or 2 people. $550 for 1 person or $300 each for 2 people. There would be an additional fee for really long routes such as those on the Coire Dubh Wall. Please request this option in advance. See the ice page for more information on guided ascents.
