The Rundlehorn
This excellent and long route makes a great introduction to multipitch rock climbing. Rising above the Banff Springs Golf Course it has 12 pitches of moderate rock climbing on the West ridge of Mount Rundle. This route can also work well for learning multipitch lead climbing skills under the direction of your guide. Descent is made either by rappelling the route or scrambling off to the side. Mount Rundle is also know by it’s Cree name of “Waskahigan Watchi”.

Logistics: Up to 2 guests can join for an ascent of The Rundlehorn. June through October is the best time to plan an ascent.
